  • Quantity Surveyor
    Department: Procurement Report to: Head of Procurement department Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Quantity Surveyor to join our team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial success of our ventures. The ideal candidate will have a strong logistics background and demonstrated experience in managing and scheduling pickups via drivers. They will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of event logistics, from equipment procurement to shipping and delivery. Duties and Responsibilities: Manage and coordinate event logistics, including equipment procurement, transportation, and inventory tracking. Develop and implement event logistics plans to ensure seamless execution. Schedule and manage event staff, including drivers and technicians. Oversee the pickup and delivery of event equipment. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all event logistics activities. Identify and implement process improvements to streamline event logistics. Work with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services. Troubleshoot and resolve logistics issues as they arise. Provide exceptional customer service to clients and internal stakeholders. Incumbent is typically responsible for a small to medium-sized project. Will have knowledge of both the work processes of document control and also the use of electronic systems used to manage documentation. Processing one or more document types through all procedural steps in accordance with well-defined procedures and guidelines. Ensures that pre-established document control requirements (e.g., which document numbering system will be used; how many and which signatures will be required for certain approvals, etc.) are satisfactorily met throughout the duration of the project. Receive, track, and monitor documents using standard document management programs to register documents, maintain databases, and produces logs, transmittals, and other reports as required. Enter data and produce reports using other standard office automation or department-specific computer applications. Initiate and reply to routine correspondence related to area of responsibility.
